ROLE DESCRIPTION
Access Global Group / FormativGroup is adding a highly skilled Salesforce OMS Quality Assurance (QA) Consultant to join our team and ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance of our Salesforce Order Management (OMS) solutions. The ideal candidate has strong experience testing Salesforce applications-specifically OMS, Commerce Cloud integrations, and full order lifecycle processes. This role requires deep functional knowledge of order workflows, excellent analytical skills, and hands-on expertise in designing and executing complex test strategies in an enterprise environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Test end-to-end Salesforce OMS order lifecycle flows, including order creation, payment authorization, fulfillment routing, amendments, cancellations, returns, and exchanges.Validate OMS core objects such as Order Summary, Order Items, Fulfillment Orders, Payment Schedules, Inventory Records, and Shopper / Buyer records .Test integration points across Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), ERP, payment gateways, tax engines, WMS systems, and external fulfillment partners.Validate inventory reservations, availability logic, omnichannel inventory updates, and distributed order management rules.Develop comprehensive test plans, test scripts, test cases, and UAT scenarios for manual and automated testing.Execute functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, user acceptance, and non-functional testing across OMS environments.Identify defects, perform root-cause analysis, document findings, and ensure timely resolution with development and product teams.Validate complex order exceptions, error-handling flows, and Salesforce Flow automations within OMS.Verify data integrity across OMS datasets, inventory systems, and transactional records.Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, Salesforce Administrators, Commerce teams, and Integration Engineers.Participate in Agile ceremonies including standups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives.Provide QA sign-off for production releases and ensure compliance with enterprise testing standards.Support deployment readiness by validating deployment packages, test environments, and data setups.REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce OMS or equivalent order management tools , and 5+ years of QA experience with strong functional and integration testing skills.Solid understanding of OMS architecture, including Order Summary, Fulfillment Orders, Payments, Inventory records, Salesforce Order Management (SOM), and full Order Lifecycle stages.Experience testing Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) integrations, cart / checkout flows, Salesforce Flows, automation rules, and OMS configurations.Skilled in validating API integrations (REST / SOAP), middleware connectors, and system-to-system data flows.Proficient with test management tools (Jira, Zephyr, ALM, TestRail) and experienced testing backend data across relational and NoSQL systems.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and defect-troubleshooting abilities with experience in Agile / Scrum environments.Exceptional communication skills, able to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.Experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, WebDriverIO, Cypress, Provar, Tosca), CI / CD pipelines, and QA integration into DevOps workflows.Familiarity with Salesforce OMS APIs, payment systems, inventory orchestration, Salesforce B2B Commerce, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud.ISTQB or similar QA certifications; Salesforce Admin or Salesforce OMS / Commerce certifications are a strong plus.Must have no other full-time commitments, ready to engage in exciting technical consulting projects with our diverse portfolio of clients.
