Job Title : Entry Level Accounts Payable Associate
Job Description
The Accounts Payable Associate is primarily responsible for the fundamental aspects of financial recordkeeping, including recording financial transactions, managing accounts and account reconciliation, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. This role involves receiving, processing, and verifying invoices related to accounts payables, as well as establishing and maintaining accurate records to ensure data integrity.
Responsibilities
Receive, process, and verify invoices related to accounts payables.
Establish and maintain accurate and appropriate records for data integrity.
Research and resolve straightforward accounting discrepancies and irregularities in a timely manner.
Elevate more complex issues for resolution.
Follow appropriate policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all state and federal laws as well as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Respond to internal and external customer inquiries promptly.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Experience in accounts payable.
0-3 years of accounting experience preferred.
Basic accounting knowledge.
Proficiency in invoice processing and Microsoft Office.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
0-3 years of relevant experience.
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
Work Environment
The work environment is professional and involves using standard accounting software and Microsoft Office. The role requires adherence to compliance and regulatory standards and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

This is a Contract position based out of Carrollton, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00 / hr.
