Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS : Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

Duties and Tasks :

As a member of the Power and Analog Hardware group, you will be involved in all program phases, including :

• Electrical requirements analysis, functional analysis, performance analysis (e.g. timing, power, etc.), design, integration and verification / qualification of electrical hardware, equipment and systems
• Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) assessments of COTS or internally developed hardware; including requirement analysis, specification and testing of various designs (circuit cards, assemblies, etc.)
• Internal electrical and EMI / EMC reviews of electrical components, hardware, equipment and systems. Work with multi-discipline design teams to ensure best practices for EMI / EMC design, build, test principles.
• Evaluation of vendor capability to support product development
• Supporting resolution of any EMI / EMC related issues in design, integration & test, qualification, manufacturing, and equipment lifecycle support phases.

You will primarily support the Maritime & Strategic Systems business area developing and deploying Weapon System Control and Launch system hardware, with opportunities to work across multiple GDMS sites and programs.

Combined Salary Range

USD $83,721.00 - USD $92,878.00 / Yr.
