Northrop Grumman Defense System has an opening for a Manager Manufacturing Engineering 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Advanced Weapons (AW) business unit. This leadership role is located in Northridge, CA.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage a team of Manufacturing Engineers, including Managers, Industrial Engineers and Leads, supporting production requirements.

Be accountable for all Manufacturing Engineering statement of work which includes, but is not limited to, design manufacturing producibility, tooling, work instruction development, on-site and reach back manufacturing support, execution of engineering rotation plans, and support to system integration labs.

Drive the execution and ongoing support of digital transformation initiatives and capacity enhancement program.

Routinely meet with program, production, engineering and Executive Leadership, to build strong relationships, and advise and discuss program strategies and execution plans.

Determine and develop staffing profiles and schedules to meet program requirements.

Lead various internal company and external customer audits to assure process compliance and requirements satisfaction.

Basic Qualifications :

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree AND +10 years of related professional / military experience in manufacturing engineering and / or manufacturing technology, OR a Master's Degree AND 9 years; of related professional / military experience in manufacturing engineering and / or manufacturing technology.
• Must have 5 years of prior management / leadership experience.
• Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance (US Citizenship required).
• Must have the ability to acquire active Special Program Access.

Preferred Qualifications :

Primary Level Salary Range : $159,500.00 - $239,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
