As Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for performing bookkeeping and clerical tasks to support daily operations.
Bookkeeping responsibilities :
- Approximately 20 hours per week spent updating various client’s books and records.
Administrative responsibilities :
Welcome guests (employees, clients, new business prospects, vendors) upon arrivalAnswer, screen and forward incoming phone calls on multiline phone systemEnsure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and suppliesPerform clerical duties such as scanning, filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxingSend daily Out of Office email to Admin teamUpdate calendars and schedule meetingsReceive, sort and distribute daily mail / deliveriesTravel to various banks to make deposits, usually once a weekTravel to USPS, UPS and / or FedEx as needed, usually once a weekKeep inventory of supplies and appraise team when something needs orderedAssist with Partner projects as requestedKeep updated records of mailing expensesPurge billing books; scan completed billing notesType and edit financial statements as requested; Print, bind, and mail to clientJob requirements :
2-3 years experience in an office setting preferredExperience using MS Office with a proficiency in MS Excel.Excellent communication and writing skills.Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task and be well organized.Benefits :
