Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician

Location : Knoxville, Tennessee

Shift : First Shift | 9 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare sterile compounds including testosterone, GLP-1s, and cyclosporine
  • Maintain a clean and organized compounding area per USP guidelines
  • Document compounding activities : batch records, cleaning logs, and QC checks
  • Support quality assurance and control initiatives
  • Manage inventory : receiving, labeling, and storing supplies

Required Skills & Certifications

  • Proven experience in sterile compounding
  • Familiarity with USP compliance
  • PTCB certification (preferred)
  • Tennessee pharmacy technician registration (preferred)
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Hospital or IV compounding experience a plus
  • Leadership potential or interest in supervisory roles
  • Experience compounding multiple drug types
  • Work Environment

  • Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00 / hr.
