American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with ARRT, OBMI, BLS, ACLS certifications and advanced EP lab and ablation experience.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology lab settingAdult patient population with a focus on EP ablations and device placementsRole involves both circulating and scrubbing for EP ablations and device implants4x10 hour day shifts, 7 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PMWeeknight and weekend call required, typically one night per week and one weekend per monthMay float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as neededEpic EMR experience requiredPrimary responsibilities include operating fluoroscopy, monitoring and scrubbing procedures, and supporting unit projects and equipment managementResponsible for pulling supplies, setting up scrub tables, draping patients, scrubbing with MD for venous / arterial access, and supporting generator device changesMay be cross-trained to support additional EP or structural heart proceduresModules completed pre-start and tracked via transcriptsReturn staff must be gone at least 6 months before returning as a travelerMust list any requested time off with submission, no more than 2 weeks allowedAccepts local candidates at the same rateScrub attire required as per hospital policy\n \n Requirements\n
Current ARRT credential and Oregon OBMI license requiredActive BLS and ACLS certifications requiredMinimum of 2 years of cath lab experience, with at least 1 year specifically in EPExperience circulating and scrubbing EP ablations is requiredReferences from two supervisors within the last 24 months required; if only one available, the second must be within 3-5 yearsCOVID-19 vaccination proof requiredNo background or license issues acceptedPhysical ability to assist with procedures and patient positioningPALS and pediatric experience preferred but not requiredLicense required if applicable\n Benefits\n
