Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU position requiring IL state licensure, Level 3 NICU and Level 1 Trauma experience.
Responsibilities
Work in a hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)Care for neonatal patients, including those requiring Level 3 or higher NICU supportTrauma Level 1 patient care environmentDay shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM, three days per weekEPIC EMR system is used and experience is requiredResponsibilities include monitoring intake and output for neonatal patients, medication administration, and assisting with breastfeeding initiationDocumentation must be accurate and up-to-date within EPICParticipation in multidisciplinary rounds regarding patient assignmentContingent workers may not remain on assignment for more than 1 year and must take a 6-month break before returningNo local candidates accepted; must live more than 50 miles from the facilityTime off requests may not exceed seven days during a 13-week contractScrub attire requirements will be provided by the unitRTO and compliance deadlines are strictly enforcedRequirements
Active Illinois RN license (temp license accepted) in good standingMinimum three years of recent Level 3 NICU or higher experience requiredRecent Level 1 Trauma environment experience requiredCurrent BLS and NRP certifications from the American Heart AssociationAssociate's degree in nursing (ASN) requiredBenefits
