DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Game Lands Maintenance Worker 1, you will perform semi-skilled duties and assist with various tasks such as the maintenance, repair, and construction of bridges, roads, parking areas, gates, posting signs, ranges, and more.
Within this role, you will assist with maintaining parking facilities and roadways, equipment maintenance, signage, and surveying new game land tracts.
You will also assist with a multitude of habitat management tasks and complete mowing duties to include border cuts and access trail maintenance for outdoor recreationalists. Additional duties may include nursery production through the securing of seeds, as well as the p runing and releasing of fruit and nut trees, shrubs, and vines for wildlife food enhancement.
