ENT with Sleep Opening - North Wilkesboro, NC - 80 miles from Greensboro and 85 miles from Charlotte Sleep Medicine subspecialty is desired, but not required Position Information : - Full-time, permanent position- Practice hours are Monday Thursday : 8 : 00 am-5 : 00 pm and Friday : 8 : 00 am-2 : 00 pm. - Call requirement including ENT call for Emergency Department six days per month, as well as practice call. - Performs medical history, physical examinations, routine assessments and determines treatment plan for patients.- Sleep Medicine fellowship or subspecialty certification will evaluate patients with sleep-related issues, utilize outpatient Sleep Lab at Medical Center and / or request home sleep studies, read HST / PSG studies, and recommend plan of care Qualifications : - Medical degree and successful completion of an accredited Otolaryngology residency program.- Board Certification or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology or Sleep Medicine.- Valid medical license to practice in North Carolina.- Certification in BCLS, ACLS required if stress tests performed or as required by specialty.- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing required.
