Location : Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215

Pay Range : $26.10 - $39.15

Benefits Eligible : Yes

Sign-On Bonus : $10,000 sign-on bonus and an additional $2,000 for evening shifts.

Your Role :

As a Surgical Technologist, you will :

• Ensure a clean, safe, and efficient surgical environment, utilizing aseptic techniques.
• Prepare surgical materials and equipment essential for various procedures.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and anticipating needs during surgery.
• Help set up and break down surgical rooms, including moving essential equipment.
• Transport patients and assist with positioning as necessary.
• Manage specialty carts to ensure all necessary items are available and functional.
• Demonstrate knowledge of patient care specific to various age groups, helping to create an inclusive environment.

Qualifications :

Licensure : Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 6 months.

Education : Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.

Experience : No prior experience required.

Skills :

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude towards patient care are essential.

Physical Requirements :

You must be able to lift and carry equipment, manage stress effectively, and work while adhering to safety protocols. This role includes exposure to various hazards; therefore, proper protective equipment will be provided.
