Job Description

We are seeking experienced Plumber Mechanic and Lead candidates with a strong background in commercial plumbing. This role involves working on multiple job sites in Lynchburg, VA, with a focus on installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage small crews for plumbing projects.
• Read and interpret blueprint drawings for plumbing installations.
• Install and repair copper, PVC, and cast iron piping.
• Transport tools, materials, and equipment to work sites.
• Perform laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems.
• Ensure work areas are clean and organized.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and demonstrate strong people skills.

Work Environment

Work is conducted at various job sites in Lynchburg, VA, with shifts from Monday to Thursday, 6 am - 4 : 30 pm, and some Fridays and Saturdays starting at 6 am. The role involves working in varying temperatures and weather conditions, requiring punctuality and a positive attitude.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lynchburg, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00 / hr.
