Team Overview :
As part of Aizer's Dental Department, the Dental Hygienist, under the supervision and direction of the Dental Director and Staff dentist(s), renders oral prophylaxis and fluoride treatments and instructs patients in proper brushing and flossing techniques. This requires a level of professionalism, courtesy and effectiveness in making the patient's experience when visiting Aizer a positive one.

Perform routine dental cleanings to remove plaque and tartar buildupConduct root planing and scaling procedures to treat and prevent periodontal diseaseCarry out dental prophylaxis to maintain oral health and prevent cavities and gum diseaseEducate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive careRecording and updating patient's medical historyRecord all treatment rendered, patient education, and teaching in the dental record and date / sign each entryRecord preliminary examination of the oral cavity, including charting of :Periodontal pockets
