Job description

Soni Resources is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure the quality and stability of software applications. You'll work closely with Developers and Business Analysts to develop and execute test plans, identify defects, and support both manual and automated testing. This role reports to the Sr. Manager, Business Applications.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop, document, and execute test plans, cases, and scripts for software applications.
  • Conduct functional, regression, system integration (SIT), and user acceptance (UAT) testing.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects; recommend process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into testable scenarios.
  • Support automated testing framework development and maintenance.
  • Provide feedback to improve software quality and development processes.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards and best practices.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
  • 4-7 years of QA / testing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with test management / defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
