Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a PICU RN in California with at least one year of recent pediatric ICU experience and current CA RN licensure.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) within a hospital setting
  • 12-hour day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM
  • 36 hours per week for a 13-week contract
  • Uses EPIC EMR system
  • Provide high-acuity nursing care to pediatric patients requiring intensive monitoring and intervention
  • Must comply with hospital-specific tenure policy, which limits contingent worker assignments to a maximum of two years with required 90-day breaks thereafter
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
  • Documentation of COVID and flu vaccination may be required

  • Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
  • At least one year of recent (within the last three years) full-time equivalent experience in PICU
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current BLS and PALS certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field preferred
  • All licenses and certifications must be active; pending credentials are not accepted
  • Last four digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
