Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines is looking for a dynamic Director of Food & Beverage to lead the team! Located atop the bluffs of Torrey Pines adjacent to the world-famous Torrey Pines Golf Course, this property has 394 rooms, 60,000 square feet of banquet space, and 5 food and beverage outlets. This includes a 3-meal restaurant, lounge, cafe, seasonal pool bar, and in-room dining. The ideal candidate will be an engaging leader who has a talent for inspiring and building winning teams. We are looking for a hands on Director of Food & Beverage who is a master at building relationships, thinking outside the box, and has a true passion for food & beverage programming. This leader must have solid experience in managing multiple outlets, proven success in leading a banquet operation, and experience with budgeting and forecasting. Financial acumen is a must!

Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.

Implement effective controls of food, beverage, and labor costs.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards.

Help ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service, and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.

Interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule, and evaluate staff.
