Machinist-C

Position Overview : The role of the Machinist-C is to operate adjust and maintain machines and equipment according to Avidity Science specifications and quality standards.

Job Type : Full-time

Key Job Responsibilities :

• Set-up operate and shut-down Boy injection molding machines for the production of molded silicone injected o-rings seals diaphragms and boots.
• Start up and shut down material pumps.
• Inspect molded parts for defects under a viewer continuously to ensure quality standards are met. Make changes in program settings on press to correct defects.
• Remove parts from the runner continuously.
• Troubleshoot Boy machines and make adjustments as necessary.
• Operate curing oven and post cure parts.
• Bag finished parts complete delivery ticket and deliver to the Stockroom as necessary.
• Complete material changes as necessary. Purge old material out and load material.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment following the 5S standards.
