Responsibilities
Client Engagement : Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, understanding their needs and providing appropriate commercial insurance solutions.
Lead Generation : Proactively seek new business opportunities and identify potential clients through networking, referrals, and other sales tactics.
Presentations : Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to potential clients, highlighting the benefits and features of our commercial insurance products.
Account Management : Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring continued client satisfaction and retention by providing ongoing support and addressing any concerns or issues.
Market Analysis : Keep abreast of market trends and competitor offerings to ensure competitive positioning in the commercial insurance market.
Collaboration : Work closely with underwriters and other internal teams to ensure client needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
Experience : Prior experience in sales, preferably within the commercial lines sector, is required.
Licensing : Valid Property & Casualty License for the state of Michigan.
Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Customer Focus : Proven ability to build relationships and deliver exceptional customer service.
Motivation : Self-driven and able to work independently to meet sales goals.
Problem-Solving : Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in CRM software and other digital tools.
