PMO Executive Director - Higher Education

Our client in Albany, NY is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead strategic project initiatives across academic and administrative units. This role collaborates closely with IT, project management, and business analysis teams to ensure successful planning, execution, and delivery of multi-year, enterprise-level projects.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Lead strategic project planning and prioritization
• Oversee cross-functional teams and project assignments
• Monitor performance, risks, and progress across initiatives
• Ensure alignment with institutional goals and timelines
• Provide clear, consistent communication to stakeholders
• Support development of project methodologies and best practices
• Act as Project Manager when needed
• Qualifications :
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
• 7+ years in project management, business analysis, or related fields
• 4+ years of direct team management experience
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Experience with enterprise-level project delivery
• Familiarity with platforms like Workfront or Monday.com
• PMP or IIBA certification preferred

• Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $120000.00 / yr.
