Assistant Professor of Information Systems and Security (Cybersecurity)

Job Summary

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, tenure track faculty position as Assistant Professor of Information Systems and Security in the Department of Information Systems and Security with a preferred start date of August 2026. These are nine-month contracted positions. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Teaching courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the technical aspects of cybersecurity
• Research and scholarship in information systems
• Professional service to the Department, College, and University
• The standard teaching load is 3 / 3 but is negotiable and can be reduced to 3 / 2 or 2 / 2 based on research productivity. Coles College provides summer research support for new faculty for up to 3 years.

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
