Staff Accountant

Creative Financial Staffing is partnered with a well-known Boston nonprofit organization seeking a Staff Accountant to join their accounting team.

About The Organization Seeking A Staff Accountant :

Internationally famous organization serving the local, national, and international community

Founded over 100 years ago; they take care to keep the programming relevant

Five major concurrently running programs are funded by donations, grants, and other sources

The Staff Accountant role includes a growth path to take on more responsibilities over time

Responsibilities For The Staff Accountant Include, But Are Not Limited To :

Process electronic accounts payable

Produce a minimal number of weekly checks

Update vendor information

Reconcile the accounts payable aging

Process weekly cash orders and change requests

Create weekly journal entries for cash transactions, accounts payable, credit card accounts, and other recurring monthly functions

Background Expected Of The Staff Accountant :

AD in Accounting or Finance, or experience equivalent (+2 years in accounting)

1+ year(s) in an accounts payable position with some responsibility for journal entries

Experience in Sage Intacct or Bill is a plus

Salary Range : $50,000 - 60,000
