BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time OR Advanced Modality Radiology Technologist (Imaging) for Barnes-Jewish Hospital

Position Details :

Day Shift : Monday -Friday (8 : 30am-5pm)

NO Call or Weekends!!!!

Extra Holiday Pay

Earn top dollar when you work on your 3 required holidays each year

(1 major, 2 minor)

On-the-Job Training : Provided

— experience preferred but not required

Operating Room (OR)

In-OR Experience : 90% of time spent in OR cases, including running C-arm, O-arm, taking interoperative and post-op recovery films, setting up C-arms, and sending images

Responsibility : Provide imaging support to OR Pods. Vascular, Ortho, and Spine / Neuro

Utilizing C-arms, O-arms, Radlink, Portable x-ray machines, etc.

Advanced Modality Technologist (AMT) position

Experience :

OR experience (Level 1 or 2 trauma experience preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and / or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and / or treatment, and quality control.

Responsibilities

Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.

Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
