Position Overview
As the Front Office Coordinator , you will create a welcoming environment, manage appointments, maintain patient records, provide administrative support, and ensure accurate handling of patient payments and insurance claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Reception : Warmly greet patients and serve as the first point of contact in a professional, friendly manner.
- Appointment Scheduling : Manage bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling to maintain an efficient daily schedule.
- Communication : Respond to patient inquiries in person and over the phone, ensuring clear, supportive, and professional communication.
- Documentation : Accurately maintain patient records and uphold confidentiality in line with healthcare regulations.
- Office Organization : Keep the front office tidy and organized, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere for patients.
- Administrative Support : Assist providers with tasks such as filing, data entry, and supply management.
- Billing & Insurance Processing : Manage Explanation of Benefits (EOB) follow-ups, submit information to insurance carriers, and collect / record patient payments.
Requirements
Associate's DegreeStrong interpersonal and communication skills.Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively.Proficiency with office software and scheduling systems.Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role preferred.Familiarity with medical billing and insurance processes a plus.Benefits
