As a patrol officer with Allied Universal serving a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain visibility, and provide outstanding customer service while communicating clearly with staff and visitors. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license.

What You'll Do :

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives as required.

Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification and credentials as necessary for individuals entering the location.

Support emergency preparedness and response efforts, following established protocols to address incidents that may arise in a utilities environment.

Minimum Requirements :

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
