We are looking for a dedicated Human Resources (HR) Business Partner to join our team in Northridge, California. This role involves serving as a strategic partner to align business objectives with employee needs while delivering expert HR consultation. As part of a long-term contract position, you will play a key role in supporting organizational goals, fostering positive employee relations, and implementing effective HR strategies.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with leadership to design and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations, ensuring fair and consistent resolution of workplace concerns.
- Offer expert advice on labor relations, including interpreting policies, procedures, and collective bargaining agreements.
- Coach managers and employees on performance management, leadership development, and engagement strategies.
- Promote a positive organizational culture by integrating company values and mission into daily practices.
- Conduct assessments to anticipate HR needs and develop actionable plans for improvement.
- Partner with Centers of Expertise (CoEs) to deliver effective HR programs and resources.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and provide training to management and employees on best practices.
- Facilitate onboarding processes to ensure new employees are successfully integrated into the organization.
- Monitor and analyze workforce trends to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
- Proven experience in employee relations and HR administration.
- Strong knowledge of labor relations and collective bargaining agreements.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and their application.
- Ability to provide effective onboarding and performance management solutions.
- Skilled in coaching leaders and employees on conflict resolution and communication.
- Demonstrated experience in fostering positive workplace culture.
- Excellent analytical and strategic planning abilities.
- Solid understanding of benefit functions and related HR processes.
