Veterinary Assistant Emergency (Overnights)
Location : Concord, CA
Schedule : Full-Time | WedSat | 7 : 00 pm - 5 : 00 am
Compensation : $25 $32 / hour (based on experience) Differential : $5.50 / hr for any working hours between 6pm-6am $2,000 Sign-On Bonus

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our Emergency Department Overnight team. This role is best suited for a seasoned VA who thrives in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency setting and enjoys working closely with an elite team of ER doctors and specialists.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with triaging incoming patients and managing flow throughout the ER
- Assist DVMs and RVT's with patient assessments, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
- Perform venipuncture and place IV catheters
- Calculate and administer medications via IV and other routes
- Obtain and process lab samples (blood, urine, fluids, aspirates)
- Assist with imaging (X-ray, ultrasound)
- Gather patient history, take vitals, and communicate with clients clearly and compassionately
