Accounting Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Clerk with hands-on SAP experience. The ideal candidate will support daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and contribute to process improvements across the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting tasks including journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Use SAP to process transactions, analyze financial data, and generate reports for leadership.
• Review AP/AR activity for accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and support billing, collections, and cash application processes.
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing schedules, gathering documentation, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting workflows and improve system utilization within SAP.
• Maintain strong documentation practices and adhere to company policies, GAAP standards, and SOX controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1-3 years of accounting experience, including direct use of SAP.
• Strong understanding of core accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data analysis preferred).
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP FICO modules.
• Background in AP, AR, or general ledger accounting.
• Familiarity with process automation or data-cleanup tools.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $27.00 per hour
