Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Chandler, Arizona.

Minimum 2 years of experience - must be recent, within the past 6 months.

  • Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (WITH 2 MAX ATTEMPTS), within 48 hours of offer.
  • There is also a pass / fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation (study guides will be provided with first day instructions.
  • MUST BE ABLE TO READ STRIPS
  • Medical-Surgical B2C
  • Unit : MedSurg B2C - # beds : 29 beds - Certs : BLS, ACLS - Ratios : 1 : 4 ratio, days and nights - Charge Nurse : Yes, does not take patients. Also has Unit Supervisor. - Nurse Aides : PCTS on days. 1 PCT or SWAT RN at night to task. - Weekend Requirement : 4 weekend shifts per 4 week period (days - Sat, Sun, nights - Fri, Sat). One major and minor holiday. - Scrub Color : Navy - Tele : GE Monitors. Central monitoring station tech to read. - Vents : NA - Hospitalist or Intensivist in house : Must call Physician. - IV Team : No. House SWAT Nurse available for hard IV sticks. - RT 24 / 7 : Yes - Pharmacy 24 / 7 : Yes, ICU Pharmacist covers on days. - Shifts : 12 hrs. 7-7. - Floating : Float to MedSurg Tele C5 and B2D - Floor specific orientation : 2 shifts on the floor. - Common diagnosis / Types of patients : General MedSurg patients that require tele. Amio, Cardizem to titrate down only. - Additional Notes : Spectralink phones (call light attached to phone). Is the "new grad training unit", all new grads train with a "clinical scholar" for 4 weeks. Each week patient load increases to 1 : 4 final week.
