ROLE :

Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG service to nursing homes and other health care facilities.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital or computed radiography equipment and submit them for interpretation.

Unload portable X-Ray equipment and take it into facilities to perform exams ordered by the physician.

Obtain clinically diagnostic and technically competent X-ray images.

Perform EKGs as needed and transmit them for interpretation.

Scan exam-related paperwork and documents daily per protocol.

Regularly communicate with dispatch and management.

Interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.

Maintain vehicle and X-ray equipment.

Radiologic Technologists may push / pull anywhere from 50 to 100 lbs with assistance from vehicle ramps and pulleys.

Weight may increase when moving equipment in a facility or home.

50 lbs of force or more can occur 16 to 24 times a day.

Maintain required state licenses and / or ARRT certification, health requirements, and operational requirements.

Valid driver's license in the applicable state and in good standing at all times.

Vaccination against COVID-19 is a requirement for all individuals, or an approved exemption must be submitted.
