What You'll Do :

Monitor and control access points at the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain security-related procedures. Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises, following established site-specific policies and protocols. Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and / or vendors with access control procedures and responding to inquiries. Respond to incidents and critical situations at the site in a calm and problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of the location and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activities and identify security-related concerns. Maintain accurate and detailed logs of access control activities, incidents, and / or unusual observations as required by site policies. Support emergency response procedures at the location when appropriate, including communication with Allied Universal management and local authorities.

Minimum Requirements :

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred. A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
