Job descriptionJob Title : Network Architect (CR262)-1 Location : Vacaville-CA Duration : Long term Responsible for delivery of network solutions at an enterprise level. Expertise required in network infrastructure technologies such as AWS Cloud, Azure Cloud, LAN, WAN, Wireless, Security, VoIP, Video and Data Center. Must have advanced hands-on experience in Palo Alto firewall, F5 LTM, GTM and WAF, AWS cloud, and automation with Ansible, CloudFormation or Terraform. Should have AWS solution architect certification and CCNP certification. Strong technical knowledge and skills in Palo Alto Network Firewall, CloudFlare and, Prisma Cloud, Cisco ASA, OSI layer 2, OSI layer 3 networks and protocols, network security methodologies, common network admin and monitoring tools, Cisco IOS, NX-OS, data center related technology and collocation environment, MPLS network, Nexus 9K and VPC, Forcepoint configuration, Routing Protocols (BGP, RIP, OSPF, etc), Cisco Network Devices automation, networking, network security and public / private clouds, wireless networks, AWS services i.e. EC2, ELB, RDS, S3, Route53, VPC, Cloud formation, SSM and Transit gateway, Microsoft Team PBX VOIP deployments, SIP Trunking and Five 9 Content Center. Tasks include overseeing planning, design, implementation, and operation of network infrastructure projects, managing implementation of network infrastructure projects, providing on-site and remote technical assistance, building and documenting new Infrastructure environments, providing infrastructure design, implementation planning, deployment support, software strategy, system troubleshooting, performance engineering and optimization, maintenance strategy, establishing networking environment, securing network and server systems, providing 24 by 7 support, reporting network operational status, participating in capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis and network tuning, collaborating with cross functional teams. Preferred Skills include advanced hands-on experience in Palo Alto firewall, F5 LTM, GTM and WAF, AWS cloud, automation with Ansible, CloudFormation or Terraform, AWS solution architect certification and CCNP certification, and deep knowledge in Forcepoint. Desired qualifications are Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, IT, or similar disciplines, equivalent work experience implementing and operating enterprise level data center and / or office networks, experience operating in a modern cloud environment such as AWS, GCP, or Azure or large-scale data centers, CCNP, CCIE R&S, or CCIE data center certifications and AWS certified solutions architect.
