Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Counsel to provide strategic and day-to-day support across multi-state and international operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead union strategy, negotiations, grievances, and arbitrations.
- Manage relationships with unions, works councils, and labor agencies.
- Advise on workforce planning, restructures, RIFs, onboarding / offboarding, and contingent workforce models.
- Support M&A due diligence, integrations, and CBA transfers.
- Deliver manager and HR training on labor relations, investigations, and compliance.
- Partner with Operations and HSE on staffing models and labor compliance for large-scale events.
- Review labor-related terms in vendor and client contracts.
- Track KPIs, manage reporting, policies, and annual labor compliance plans.
Qualifications
JD and active bar membership required.7–12+ years of labor and employment experience (law firm or in-house).Must have Union experienceStrong background in union / collective bargaining and NLRB or agency practice.Multi-jurisdictional experience; hospitality, sports, or events industry a plus.Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Experience in hospitality and / or entertainment industry a plus.To apply, send resumes to kg@libertyjobs.com
