The team is growing at P's! We are seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to help lead our team in delivering an exceptional Putnam's experience. The ideal candidate enjoys working on a team and is passionate about the hospitality industry. This role is essential in maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

• Pay :
• Average tipped pay rate in 2025 : $34 / hour
• $22 / hour plus an average of $10-$12 / hour in pooled tips amongst small team working

After 90 Days :

• Duties
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, including prep work and cleaning.
• Along with team, make and deliver food items to customer tables.
• Help with inventory and prep lists.
• Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Maintain high standards of food presentation and quality, ensuring consistency across all dishes.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
• Qualifications
• Proven experience in food service.
• Strong communication skills with vendors, customers and colleagues.
• Knowledge of wine, beer, or cocktails is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A passion for hospitality, and commitment to paying attention to the details.
