Tel Hai Retirement Community, a certified "Great Place to Work", is a nonprofit Life Plan community located in north western Chester County PA. We have been serving seniors for over 65 years and are grounded in a customer-first service commitment with a unified mission of providing a great senior living experience.

We are excited to offer a 10-week paid internship program, June 1 - August 7, designed to give college students or recent graduates who are interested in the long term care field an opportunity to get practical experience in their specific field of study while also receiving professional development and a better understanding of the long term care industry.

As an Intern at Tel Hai you will benefit from the following :

• A structured program giving you an overview of each department while also focusing on a specific department related to your field of study. Here is where you will learn about and be involved in day to day activities, giving you hands on learning opportunities and special projects.
• A mentor to provide learning opportunities and continued guidance and support throughout the program.
• Professional development in areas such as communication and leadership.
• A comprehensive understanding of our operations, fostering a strong foundation for a possible future in long term care.
• Completion of a final project where you will be able to take what you have learned to address a real-world challenge that Tel Hai may face.
• Networking opportunities.
• A career pathway for future employment opportunities within our organization.
• Compensation for your time in the program at $15.00 / hour.
