Business Operations Specialist

Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for a Business Operations Specialist supporting the Space Systems Command (SSC) Military Communication and Positioning, Navigation and Timing Directorate (CG) in the United States Space Force. This position will support the SSC/CG program office as it rapidly premier capabilities resilient to the threat by the relentless pursuit of warfighter needs and acquisition excellence.

This is a full-time opportunity located in LA, CA.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Serve as an expert in the execution of routine business operations for the Directorate
• Support the Business Manager by extracting program specific information, assessments, analysis, and reviews enabling program and technical acquisition artifacts to be integrated at the enterprise level
• Use the combined program integrated master schedule to facilitate the management of cost, schedule, and technical performance of the Directorate's portfolio.
• Provide detailed analysis, quantifiable supporting documentation, and thorough justification for all research, reviews, and assessments performed and include corrective action plans and recommendations to the Government
• Provide the Government reports and briefs on how to implement policies, conduct independent program assessments, and conduct risk assessments for the portfolio.

Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Secret

Education: High School Diploma

Years of Experience: At least 9 years of experience in related field

Preferred Qualifications

Education & Years of Experience: Associates degree or higher and at least 7 years of experience in related field OR Bachelor's degree or higher and at least 3 years of demonstrated experience in a related field.

Technical Skills

• Experience utilizing an IMS

Location: On-site at LA AFB, with telework capabilities for local candidates

Hybrid: Percentage of telework/remote allowed will vary based on the customer's discretion.
