Business Operations Specialist

Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for a Business Operations Specialist supporting the Space Systems Command (SSC) Military Communication and Positioning, Navigation and Timing Directorate (CG) in the United States Space Force. This position will support the SSC / CG program office as it rapidly premier capabilities resilient to the threat by the relentless pursuit of warfighter needs and acquisition excellence.

This is a full-time opportunity located in LA, CA.

  • Contingent upon contract award

Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to :

  • Serve as an expert in the execution of routine business operations for the Directorate
  • Support the Business Manager by extracting program specific information, assessments, analysis, and reviews enabling program and technical acquisition artifacts to be integrated at the enterprise level
  • Use the combined program integrated master schedule to facilitate the management of cost, schedule, and technical performance of the Directorate's portfolio.
  • Provide detailed analysis, quantifiable supporting documentation, and thorough justification for all research, reviews, and assessments performed and include corrective action plans and recommendations to the Government
  • Provide the Government reports and briefs on how to implement policies, conduct independent program assessments, and conduct risk assessments for the portfolio.

  • Qualifications

    Citizenship : Must be a US citizen

    Minimum Required Qualifications

    Clearance : Secret

    Education : High School Diploma

    Years of Experience : At least 9 years of experience in related field

    Preferred Qualifications

    Education & Years of Experience : Associates degree or higher and at least 7 years of experience in related field OR Bachelor's degree or higher and at least 3 years of demonstrated experience in a related field.

    Technical Skills

  • Experience utilizing an IMS
  • Additional Information

    Location : On-site at LA AFB, with telework capabilities for local candidates

    Hybrid : Percentage of telework / remote allowed will vary based on the customer's discretion.

    Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as the Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
