Position Summary : We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Coordinator-Supply Chain Inventory Management. In this role, the successful candidate reporting to the Director of Inventory, the Coordinator / ParEx is responsible for creating, managing, predicting and monitoring supply chain inventory, par, and other product locations. The Coordinator is also responsible for par level active management, location updates, tracking, and proactive monitoring. The Coordinator will play an active role in the problem solving and is responsible for performing excellent analyzing problems and recommending creative solutions for the variability within the specific locations environment. The Coordinator will perform analysis of medical and surgical products in par locations, managed through ParEx technology. These activities also include identification of opportunities or perform analysis of supply chain operations activities and data to identify operational enhancements, transformation, and savings. A Coordinator should have strong presentation and communication skills and a high focus on attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Assist in reorganizing storage areas to optimize space and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with vendors to track orders, resolve discrepancies, and ensure quality standards.
  • Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports; recommend adjustments to meet operational needs.
  • Maintain and monitor inventory levels; process adjustments and update records as needed.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clinical and operational teams to ensure materials meet end-user needs.
  • Support ongoing process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve supply chain issues, including backorders and delivery delays.
  • Update and maintain product location data and inventory systems
  • Work closely with warehouse, purchasing, and clinical teams to manage product changes, stockroom setups, and replenishment schedules.
  • In addition to the above, the candidate will be expected to adapt to new responsibilities as required, reflecting the evolving nature of the position.

Minimum Qualifications : To qualify you must have a - BA / BS Degree - (3-5 yrs) Inventory management experience - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite i.e. Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio and Project - Creative problem solving skills - Ability to prioritize projects and manage deadlines as required in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications : - BA / BS Degree - (5-7 yrs) Inventory management experience - Previous healthcare supply chain or materials management experience - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite i.e. Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio and Project - Creative problem solving skills - Ability to prioritize projects and manage deadlines as required in a team environment - Communication skills

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $64,350.00 - $68,900.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses / incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
