MAIN DUTIES :
Career Counselors identify and meet both the personal and career counseling needs of all students on assigned caseload through individual counseling and group counseling sessions. They assist students in obtaining the appropriate support and resources needed to successfully complete the program. They also counsel and assist students in obtaining quality career development services and ensure students follow a career path of growth and development resulting in long-term careers and employment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
Bachelor Degree with 15 semester hours in social services-related instruction and one year of experience in counseling or related field
SALARY AND BENEFITS :
45,000 to $48,000 per year with 401(k), medical, dental, vision, STA, holidays and vacation
