Position Summary : The primary purpose of this position is to assist all dietary positions where needed.

Education, Training and Experience Requirements :
Highschool or general education diploma (GED)Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation and hygienic methods requiredExperience in an institutional setting preferredKnowledge of food preparation in large quantitiesKnowledge of hazards of improper food handlingKnowledge of use and care of food service equipmentAbility to calibrate thermometerMust have / be willing to get a Food Handler’s LicenseEssential Job Duties :
Assist cooks in setting up and covering desertsMaking supplements for 10am, 2pm and 7pm snacksSetting up resident food traysWrap SilverwareHelp to serve residents trays in dining roomBussing of tables and traysWiping off tables in dining roomClean up of work areas after each mealAssist the dishwasher with dishesFollow weekly cleaning schedule, including initialing and datingResponsible for logging food temperaturesStock storage room and refrigerated itemsAbility to read tray cardsAttend Mandator in-service meetings
