Job description
Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Location: Onsite Shelton, CT
Salary Range: $20.00-23.00 per Hour
Type: Temp to Hire 4 months

Hours: First Shift 7:30-4:30
Responsibilities:
- Construct wooden crates of varying sizes for the shipment of large systems
- Assemble cardboard shipping boxes as required
- Professionally package products to ensuring safe transport and adequate protection
- Unload & unpack incoming goods, verify quantities, and accurately record data into the computer system
- Identify appropriate storage bins or locations and stock received materials accordingly
- Safely operate a forklift to handle materials
- Perform additional related duties as assigned
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience in handling a variety of hand tools for assembly, cutting and fabrication
- Skilled in operating panel and chop saws to complete precise cuts for wooden crates
- Experienced and certified fork lift truck operator preferred
- Must be able to work from verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
- Must be conscientious, fast & accurate with attention to detail
- Must be self-motivated, productivity-driven, reliable & responsible
- Must be flexible and eager to help meet the shipping & receiving demands of a busy production environment
- Must be computer literate
- Must keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment
