Job Title : Radiologic Technologist

Job Description

Perform all routine diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures, ensuring the production of high-quality images with minimal repeats. Apply radiation and physical safety measures to protect patients and staff. Calculate appropriate exposure factors and evaluate images for diagnostic quality. Explain procedures to patients and observe them to ensure safety and comfort during exams. Demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions, oversee duties assigned to student radiographers, and handle telephone scheduling procedures while operating the PACS computer system.

  • Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology training program approved by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA.
  • Registered or registry eligible with the ARRT.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Work Environment

    Work in a 656-bed hospital that includes specialized centers such as The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, and advanced technology for cancer treatment and the Oklahoma Heart Institute. The position is Monday through Friday from 2 : 30 pm to 11 : 00 pm.     This is a Permanent position based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00 / yr.
