Inventory Specialist
This position involves ensuring data accuracy, managing inventory needs, and facilitating the delivery of completed kits to production spaces. The role requires both computer-based planning and physical tasks within a warehouse setting, demanding a balance of analytical and hands-on skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining data accuracy to ensure tools and processes function effectively.
- Level load work orders to sustain productivity and meet demand.
- Analyze inventory positions and SKU performance to determine inventory needs.
- Execute purchase orders and manage vendor-related systems and reports.
- Deliver completed kits to production spaces for seamless execution.
- Research, manage, and mitigate shortages; coordinate transfers with the warehouse floor.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams, assisting with Kanban processes and utilizing Jira systems.
- Carry and inspect full kits of products for specific work orders, and quickly identify assemblies based on labels.
- Work in a warehouse environment involving 50% computer / spreadsheet work and 50% physical tasks.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 3 years of experience in planning and inventory management systems, particularly SAP or similar systems.Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, index matching, and VLOOKUP.Ability to analyze data, review stock levels, and determine ordering needs.Experience in coordinating materials ordered by production teams and ensuring seamless workflow.Additional Skills & Qualifications
1 year of relevant experience as an Associate Planner or Associate Buyer.Strong organizational skills and self-starting capability.Proficient in business software such as Excel.Good written and oral communication skills.Adaptability to work in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.Degree is flexible; relevant experience is acceptable.Work Environment
The role is 100% onsite with options for shifts Wednesday to Saturday from 4pm to 2 : 30am in Kirkland, WA. Candidates must have flexibility to train in Redmond, WA, with training sessions typically starting around 1pm. The work involves a mix of computer-based tasks and physical activities within a warehouse setting, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
This is a Contract position based out of Kirkland, Washington.
The pay range for this position is $32.00 / hr.
