ICU RN Job Details Location : Lexington, KY 40508 (Central Kentucky healthcare jobs) Assignment Length : 14 weeks Start Date : January 13, 2026 End Date : April 21, 2026 Shift : Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19 : 00 - 07 : 30) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1910 - $1960 Employment Type : Travel Nurse Contract ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent ICU RN experience required Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky or compact state (required at time of submission) Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Must pass EKG onboarding exam, Advanced Math, Med / Pharmacology exam, General ICU competency and skills exams, and CORE exams COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical / religious exemptions accepted) 1 reference from a charge nurse or supervisor required Local travelers within 75 miles not accepted No licensure hits accepted Previous experience in a Level 1 trauma center preferred ICU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care to critically ill adults in a fast-paced Intensive Care Unit Operate and manage ICU equipment including mechanical ventilators, arterial lines, flotrac, and chest tubes Administer and titrate vasoactive drips and sedation medications as per protocols Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans Float to other units or affiliate hospitals as needed Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with hospital and nursing standards Participate in required orientation and ongoing clinical competency modules Take the next step in your ICU nursing career with this travel nurse job in Lexington, Kentucky.
