Job descriptionDEA license required (or eligible to obtain). ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is mandatory. Previous cardiothoracic surgery or cardiac experience is a plus. Ideal candidates should have some acute care experience . Overseeing care for patients in the Cardiac Surgery ICU , handling a range of cases from CABG and valve replacement to ECMO, aortic dissections, and aneurysm repairs. Performing bedside procedures within your scope of service. Writing progress notes , participating in daily rounds, writing orders, dictating discharge notes, and contributing to hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
