Commercial Maintenance Technician to support multiple customer sites within an assigned geographic territory. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys variety, autonomy, and delivering high-quality service in commercial environments.
You will be provided with a
company vehicle, tools, and mobile technology and will perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance across building systems and facilities. Success in this role requires strong multi-trade experience, excellent customer-facing skills, and a commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities: - Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance according to work orders and service schedules
- Conduct general commercial building maintenance, including:
- Plumbing: minor repairs to toilets, urinals, faucets, valves, and sensor-operated fixtures
- Electrical: fixture replacement, outlets, switches, ballasts, and lighting (within state licensing requirements)
- Carpentry & Drywall: patching, repairs, and finishing to restore surfaces to like-new condition
- Painting: surface preparation, touch-ups, and full repairs to maintain professional appearance
- Inspect and maintain walls, floors, doors, ceilings, and building finishes
- Complete service inspections and asset condition assessments
- Use mobile technology (tablet/smartphone) to:
- Access and close work orders
- Document services performed with notes and photos
- Submit timesheets, expense reports, and purchasing documentation
- Source materials and supplies required to complete assigned tasks
- Build strong, professional relationships with customers through clear communication and quality workmanship
- Provide estimates for larger repair projects or additional services when needed
- Follow all OSHA, safety, and compliance standards; participate in required safety training and meetings
- Travel locally between assigned properties
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills / Education: Education & Experience - High school diploma or equivalent required
- Trade school, technical certification, or related coursework preferred
- 2-5 years of commercial facilities or general maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience
- Experience in one or more building trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or mechanical systems) strongly preferred
Technical Skills - Working knowledge of commercial building systems and preventive maintenance best practices
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Proficiency using mobile devices and basic business software (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to read technical manuals, work orders, and safety documentation
Licenses & Certifications - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Required trade licenses or certifications, as applicable
