The new, three-story outpatient clinic was a major expansion of the healthcare services available to the community. The clinic handles nearly 26,000 appointments per year and is the largest clinic in north Florida / south Georgia. This new clinic improved care by consolidating multiple services, including mental health, women s care, cardiology, surgery, endoscopy, dermatology, urology, ENT, podiatry / orthopedics, dental, diagnostic imaging and other specialty services. Three time winner - All American City award National City League Tallahassee, Florida, is known for being the state capital, a vibrant college town with universities like Florida State University and Florida A&M University, and for its rich history, including the 17th-century Mission San Luis. The city also offers natural beauty with parks and outdoor adventures, a thriving arts and culture scene, and a notable culinary experience with farm-to-table dining and craft breweries. Florida has NO state income tax! The cost of living in Tallahassee, FL, is lower than the national average, largely due to more affordable housing, with expenses for utilities and transportation also being lower.
The Sergeant Ernest I. "Boots" Thomas VA Clinic is recruiting for a staff Urologist.
- Clinic - Seeing a variety of disease processes, including workup and management. This may also include minor procedures.
- Provide non-operative care in Urology patients to diagnose, correct, treat, or rehabilitate conditions, illnesses, and injuries of the genitourinary tract to include adrenal glands, kidneys, ureters, bladder, prostate, testicles, and external genitalia.
- Experience with minor urology procedures cystoscopy, prostate biopsy, retrograde urethrogram, foley placement over wire, vasectomy
