Our 24 / 7 on-site heart-care team provides innovative care and specializes in a wide range of surgical procedures.
Position Details :
- Shift : Full-time, Evening shifts (8 or 10 hr shifts)
- Location : Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215
- Pay Range : $26.10 - $39.15
- Hours Per Week : 40
- Sign-On Bonuses : $10,000 eligibility with distance-based relocation and $2,000 for PM shifts

Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment for optimal patient care.Utilize aseptic surgical techniques to prepare materials, supplies, and equipment for surgeries.Set up and ensure room safety and efficiency for each surgical case.Assist Surgeons as a Second Assistant when needed.Notify staff of any equipment or supply issues.Safely transport patients and / or equipment as needed.Maintain specialty carts ensuring completeness and working condition.Demonstrate age-appropriate care for all patient populations.Qualifications :
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 6 months unless otherwise specified.No prior experience required.Knowledge of aseptic techniques and operating room equipment.Excellent customer service skills and basic computer proficiency.Physical Requirements :
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and carry up to 40 lbs.Push / pull with 30 lbs of force.Must have functional sight and hearing; able to sit, stand, walk, and perform other physical tasks frequently.Exposure to various hazards in a surgical environment.If you're ready to make an impact in the operating room and contribute to a diverse and compassionate healthcare team, we would love to hear from you!
