Job description

We are seeking a skilled Neurologist for a locum tenens opportunity near Rocky Ford, Colorado.     • Open for submissions, start and end dates flexible based on provider availability

  • On Call

    • Yes, including weekend requirements

  • Weekend Coverage

    • Required as part of the 24-hour on-call rotation

    Responsibilities :

  • Provide primary inpatient neurology coverage with a focus on adult patient care
  • Be available for 24-hour call coverage during assigned weekdays and weekends
  • Work collaboratively with a team, including other neurologists who will be present on-site
  • Perform EEG procedures as needed, in a facility equipped with on-site lab and X-ray services
  • Maintain high standards of care, supporting the hospitals goal of improving patient outcomes and reducing readmissions

    • Qualifications :

  • Board Certification in Neurology

    • Required

  • Licensing

    • Active Colorado medical license or an Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) license required

  • Experience

    • Previous inpatient neurology experience preferred
