Leidos is seeking a talented and driven Vice President, Veterans Affairs Account Manager to enhance and cultivate relationships across the Veterans Affairs (VA) sector, including the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), and the Office of Information and Technology (OIT). The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience and credentials related to VA missions and operations, along with a robust network to support strategic initiatives and programs.

As leaders in military and VA health systems, data security, and global electronic health record (EHR) implementations, we have proudly supported the VBA since 1998.
The VA Account Manager will play a crucial role in developing an account strategy that aligns with customer objectives, leading interactions with key stakeholders, and driving innovative solutions. You will be instrumental in identifying new opportunities and shaping strategies for successful captures while promoting the full breadth of our corporate capabilities to maximize customer impact.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and nurture relationships with mid- and senior-level leaders within the VA, focusing on the VHA and VBA.
Provide analysis of customer direction, emerging trends, and strategic opportunities spanning a 3-5 year outlook, translating these insights into actionable strategies for internal leaders.
Support strategic planning efforts by delivering insights on the evolution of customer missions, mission strategies, and funding profiles.
Act as a thought leader within the VA community, demonstrating the capabilities and innovations offered by Leidos.
Integrate technological advancements and healthcare innovations into strategic planning.
Create tailored account strategies and objectives that resonate with customer needs.
Collaborate across Leidos to ensure that our messaging is cohesive and aligns with customer goals while promoting our comprehensive solutions.
Contribute to proposal development by providing insights based on deep customer understanding.
Establish strategic partnerships with industry leaders to foster innovation and new business opportunities.
Organize meetings and discussions to gather insights on acquisition strategies and contracting opportunities.
Contribute to competitive intelligence efforts by offering assessments and recommendations concerning customer activities and industry trends.
Conduct assessments on ongoing contracts and provide constructive feedback to teams across Leidos.
Maintain regular interaction with various management levels, functional leads, and customers.
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 15+ years of relevant experience; or a master's degree with 13+ years of experience.
Established relationships and expertise with the VHA and VBA.
Minimum of 13 years leading or managing teams.
Comprehensive understanding of government customers and their requirements.
Proven access to key government contacts and industry partners.
Experience with federal budgets, investments, and the acquisition process.
Ability to innovate and apply solutions that drive business growth.
Strong capacity for relationship management across a complicated organizational landscape.
Superb written and verbal communication skills.
U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a security clearance are required.

Ability to influence and negotiate at senior levels effectively.

Pay Range : $216,800.00 - $348,750.00
