Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and work orders to execute accurate installations and modifications.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, pumps, cranes, hoists, dock equipment, compactors, fire suppression sensors, solenoids, switches, starters, relays, and other plant assets.
Troubleshoot electrical faults, perform root cause analysis, and execute repairs while observing NEC/NFPA compliance and hot work permits.
Calculate load requirements, voltage drops, and motor winding adjustments using strong math skills and electrical formulas.
Conduct testing and verification of repaired systems, documenting results in maintenance tracking systems.
Coordinate with the Facility Services team to prioritize work requests, schedule outages, and communicate status to stakeholders.
Follow all safety procedures, wear appropriate PPE, and work safely with live voltages up to 600 V.
Provide coverage on 1st or 2nd shift as needed under the Lockheed Martin UAW collective bargaining agreement.
