Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with Level 1 trauma experience and proficiency on GE CT scanners for a 13-week acute care assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an acute care setting in a dedicated CT department with 5 GE CT scanners
  • Level 1 trauma environment with high patient acuity and volume
  • No floating to other departments is required
  • 3x12 hour night shifts with a 7 : 00 PM start, every third weekend required
  • No call, no standby, and no holiday coverage required
  • EPIC EMR is used
  • Applicants should be experienced travelers who can function independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
  • Scrubs in solid colors or some prints are acceptable
  • Department-specific orientation is typically one week as needed
  • No COVID vaccination required
  • Local rates apply for candidates with a permanent address within 50 miles of the facility

    • Requirements

  • Active ARRT, IEMA, and BLS certifications
  • Minimum of 1 year CT scanning experience in an acute or trauma setting
  • Experience operating GE CT scanners required
  • Ability to perform basic CT scans and start IVs
  • Level 1 trauma experience required
  • Must provide a negative drug screen
  • License required if applicable
